The Ourika Valley is one of the easiest escapes from Marrakech, close enough for a single day, but different enough from the city that it feels like a real change of scenery. Expect green hillsides, a running river, and cooler mountain air, with Berber villages built into the valley slopes along the way.

Day itinerary
Morning
Pickup from your accommodation at 9h00 AM. The drive out of Marrakech includes a few scenic stops along the way, with time to take in the changing landscape as the road climbs toward the valley.
Cooperative
A short stop to see how argan oil is traditionally produced, with a chance to walk through the area and meet local producers.
Ourika waterfalls hike
A guided hike of roughly up to the Ourika waterfalls. The path is manageable for most fitness levels, and your guide sets the pace.
Lunch by the river
Descend back toward the village for lunch at a riverside restaurant — several have terraces built directly over the water.
Return to Marrakech
Departure from Ourika in the afternoon, arriving back in Marrakech around 17h00PM.
